Focus: Students can identify the materials and equipment and explain the process used for making selected art objects.

Resources: 3 pictures: year 4 saw 2 of the 3.

As this is a link task procedural details are not given in this report. Students were shown pictures of art objects and asked questions about the making of those objects. Year 8 students examined three objects whereas year 4 students examined only two of the three objects.

Commentary:
The results in this task generally follow the pattern of results in the Art Objects A task. While many students have some acquaintance with the sorts of objects presented, they are not particularly knowledgeable about the materials, tools and process used for making them.
