Commentary:
The results achieved by Mäori students in general education (GEd) settings and students in Mäori immersion (MI) settings were not statistically significantly different. However, it was evident that the lack of trees and bush on the pictured site was viewed differently by the two groups and probably should not have been regarded as as appropriate reason for choosing this site.
