Resources:Instruction and music on a videotape; answer sheet.

The student was introduced and guided through this task by the presenter on the video. Each item consisted of a set of 4 lines of music and the student was required to identify which lines within the set were the same and which were different. The answers were recorded as a pattern on the answer sheet.

Watch and listen to the video. Write the letters A,B, or C for each line of music.

Video presenter: Identify the differences occurring with sets of four lines of music.
