Resources: Small block of clay |
Each student worked with standard sized blocks of clay. The clay was particularly suitable for modelling. The teacher administrator explained to the student the context for the images they were to create. At the conclusion of the task the student's model was recorded on video film for marking purposes. The model was placed on a small turntable which enabled a 360¼ filming. |
51% of year 4 students' clay models and 60% of year 8 students' models were marked in the middle range of 3 or 4.
