Resources: 40 second video: Pippa has been asked to do a project on Samoa and needs their help to write three study questions. This project is to be based on questions and therefore they need to be interesting and give plenty of information. Pippa asks if the student could suggest three questions and as the video concludes text appears on the screen asking them to write three good questions for Pippa on their answer sheet.

Commentary:
The year 8 students had substantial success with this task. Sixty-six percent provided three "good" questions or two "good" and one "valid" question; thirteen percent provided no questions judged "good".
