Instructions: Students were asked to look up two specific items of information about each of three objects, and record their findings on a chart.

Commentary: Year 8 students were substantially more successful than year 4 students. 59% of year 8 students recorded all 6 items correctly, compared with 24% of year 4 students.

Instructions: Students were asked to look up information about three words (one misspelt) recording the information and page number where it was found.
