Questions
/ instructions:
New Zealand is a country with a lot of trees. Sometimes the trees are
cut down and the logs are sent to other countries. The other countries
use the logs to make things. These countries can make a lot of money
from the things they make.

Commentary:
Mäori students in Mäori immersion (MI) settings scored statistically
significantly higher than did Mäori students in general education
(GEd) settings. The MI students seemed to be much more aware of local
economic and employment considerations, while having higher concern about
health risks. |
