Commentary: This task required students to read a source text about Kiri Te Kanawa and make notes under three headings. Eighty-five percent of students were able to record at least one relevant point about her early life. Seventy-two percent were able to record at least one relevant point about her education and 70 percent recorded one or more relevant points about her career. |
