Commentary:
Year 8 students performed much better than year 4 students on multiplication
tasks. There was a small improvement between 1997 and 2001 for both years:
10 percent more year 4 students got at least 3/5 correct, and 9 percent
more year 8 students got at least 5/7 correct. |
