| A baby giraffe arrived in the Wellington zoo yesterday afternoon. He has not yet got a name but it's likely to be a african one. He is very tall for a new born giraffe, usually they are 1.8 meters but he, as the son of Riki and Tera, is over 2 meters tall. He will be moved to the hamilton zoo soon. | An unusual arrival, this afternoon, as a baby giraffe was born at Wellington zoo. The baby giraffe, presently without a name is the first son of "Rikki", and "Teaser". The resident giraffes at Wellington zoo. This baby giraffe is unusual because he was born in the afternoon, where as most giraffes are born at night. Also he is tall for his age, standing at two metres, where as new born giraffes usually are about one metre eighty centimetres. | the Bobaby giraffe was Burn in the afternone and All giraffes are Burn at night and are only 1.5 mites tall But it was 2.5 mites tall and they are sending it of to hamilton zoo and pople are croweding to see it (year 4) | |
